Silicone Areolas

Applying and caring for your silicone areolas is simple, and after the first application, most clients quickly find it becomes part of their normal routine. With the right preparation, application, and removal, each wear can last up to 7 days before reapplying, depending on lifestyle and activity levels.

This guide is here to help you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way, with clear instructions and a few simple care recommendations to help you get the very best from your Aréol’Art silicone areolas.

How to apply your Aréol'Art

  1. Clean the skin with mild soap, rinse, and dry. Determine the placement of your silicone areola.
     

  2. Apply a thin layer of medical adhesive to the silicone areola.
     

  3. Wait 30 seconds (tacky). For better adhesion, also apply glue to your skin. Allow the adhesive to dry until it becomes transparent.
     

  4. Position and hold for 30 seconds.
     

  5. Wear time: up to 7 days, depending on activity.

How to remove your Aréol'Art

  1. Moisten with adhesive remover (Pros-Aide Remover or equivalent).
     

  2. Gently lift by the edges and remove slowly.
     

  3. Clean the skin with solvent, then with mild soap.

     

Cleaning your silicone areolas:

  • Warm water and mild soap (pH neutral). If necessary, remove any remaining adhesive with adhesive remover.

  • Rinse thoroughly.

  • Air dry (do not rub).

  • Never use talcum powder, oils, or harsh chemicals.

Storage

  • Store flat in its original box.
     

  • Protect from direct light and heat.
     

  • Avoid contact with other silicone areolas (risk of sticking).
     

  • Do not allow the adhesive to reach sub-zero temperatures; it will harden.
     

  • Store your silicone areolas out of reach of children and pets.
     

  • After dyeing your hair, rinse it thoroughly before wearing your silicone areolas in the shower, as dyes can permanently discolour it.
     

  • Wash dark clothing (bras, tank tops, shirts) thoroughly before wearing them with your silicone areolas. Dyes can permanently discolour your silicone areolas.

Lifespan

Your Aréol'Art silicone areolas are expected to last between 1 and 5 years, depending on the frequency of use and how they are cared for.

If discolouration or tearing occurs, they should be replaced.
